Abstract

This article arises from the exchange of experiences between two professors of the college degree at the Federal University of Bahia and Federal University of Sergipe. Debates different pedagogical practices in the teaching of the visual arts that contemplate anti-colonial and intersectional counter-narratives, considering several markers of difference, not dissociating the different subordination axes, as race, class and sexuality to think about academic research and creation processes in Visual Arts. This text reflects how the practices and readings of the writings by Grada Kilomba, bell hooks, Nêgo Bispo, Luiz Antônio Simas, Luiz Rufino, Kimberlé Crenshaw and Patrícia Hill Collins influence the construction of methodologies for reflection, discussion and production crossed by themes understood as dissident. In this way, they propose a critical look at the curricular components Research Methodology in Visual Arts and Ceramic I and II.

Yasmin de Freitas Nogueira, Universidade Federal de Sergipe

Artista Visual e professora Adjunta da Licenciatura em Artes Visuais- Departamento de Artes Visuais e Design da Universidade Federal de Sergipe-UFS. Doutora em Artes Cênicas pela Universidade Federal da Bahia-UFBA, Mestra em Cultura e Sociedade - Pós Cultura - IHAC – UFBA e Bacharela em Artes Visuais pela Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia- UFRB. Em seu processo de pesquisa e criação artística, investiga as vivências de mulheres negras em diáspora, em linguagens como performance, vídeo, fotografia e experimentos híbridos no campo da arte e tecnologia. Têm participado de projetos, congressos e exposições nacionais e internacionais como projeto OBÌNRIN - Ancestralidade, Residência Artística e Performance Negra Feminista (2018), o Projeto Photocena. Flotar Programa/Comfort Station/ Secult-Ba. Latitude. Chicago-EUA (2019) e a Segunda conferência Continental do ALARI sobre Estudos Afro-Latino-Americanos na Universidade de Harvard. (2022)

Luisa Magaly Santana Oliveira Reis, Universidade Federal da Bahia

Luisa Magaly Santana Oliveira Reis é Artista Visual e professora assistente do Departamento de Expressão Gráfica e Tridimensional da Escola de Belas Artes da Universidade Federal da Bahia. Licenciada em Artes Visuais - Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco - UNIVASF. Mestra em Processos de criação em Artes Visuais pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal da Bahia. Está doutoranda em Artes Visuais pelo PPGAV-UFBA. É membra do Grupo de Pesquisa Arte Híbrida (CNPq/UFBA). Possui trabalhos em múltiplos meios visuais, com destaque para a expressão tridimensional. Sua pesquisa se dá por meio da elaboração de corpos-objetos e imagens-palavras, a partir dos fundamentos presentes na espiritualidade umbandista, onde destaca as referências das religiões amefricanas.
