Abstract

With almost 30 years of experience with stage lighting, lighting and set designer Marisa Bentivegna reflects on her creative experiences with scenic works during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this period, the interviewee was involved in a variety of theatrical productions with different conditions and forms of production. In her report, she narrates the challenges and discoveries she experienced, where the boundaries between lighting, set design, art direction and photography becomes flexible.

Author Biography

Francisco Turbiani, Universidade de São Paulo

Francisco Turbiani is lighting designer and theater director. Master from the University of São Paulo, with research in the area of scenic lighting and a bachelor's in scenic arts with a degree in theater direction from the same institution. Since 2013,  has been a resident trainer for the Lighting course at the SP Escola de Teatro - Training Center for Performing Arts. As an illuminator, has experience in theater, dance, opera, music and corporate events.
