  • Andrea Pagnes, ArtEZ University of the Arts

Italian artist and writer Andrea Pagnes and the German artist Verena Stenke have been working together as VestAndPage since 2006.  Through their collaborative creative practice, theoretical and artistic research, and temporary community-based artistic and curatorial projects—such as the Venice International Performance Art Week—they explore performance art and performance-based film as phenomena of ‘subtle places’. Their works have been presented internationally. They are lecturers at ArtEZ University of the Arts (Netherlands) and the UNIDEE Academy (Italy) and received the award for best film at the Berlin Independent Film Festival (2018).  pagnes@vest-and-page.de        https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3696-2503
