Abstract

This report starts from acknowledging failures experienced in everyday school life as triggers for reflecting on teaching practice within a dehumanizing system. Based on limit‑situations in the classroom, it articulates memories of a humanist education lived at the CAIC (Center for Integral Attention to Children and Adolescents) and dialogues with the work of Hélio Oiticica, especially the concepts of “parangolé” and “the museum is the world”, to think about a reinvention of pedagogical practice. Affection, listening, and improvisation are presented as political tools of resistance. It concludes that, in order to remain alive, the school must inhabit the chaos of the world, embracing its complexity as the raw material of education.
